10 Salem Progressive Film Series! Tonight’s Film: The Exonerated. Tea Party Bookshop invites you to join us at the Grand Theatre for this month’s Progressive Film. We Support the aims of the Progressive Film Series, and will have a table of books for sale with titles related to the film. See you there! 7pm - 10pm, The Grand Theater, 187 High St NE.

T-F Guided Meditation by Appointment.: Enjoy an hour of guided meditation for inner silence and stillness. The cost is $5.00 when you arrive. The cost is $5 when upon arrival or you may pay online.

M-W-F Tai Chi Chuan by Appt.: Individual instruction in Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan - forms, energetics, health, martial arts, and spiritual aspects as determined in consult with an experienced adept of the Chinese Internal Arts. This is self-paced training.

SA Subtle Body Anatomy by Appt.: Presented by Tad Stuck. Learn about the anatomy of your energetic body. The primary centers and channels are reviewed including Chakras and TanTien. Finally students are given a guided exercise for the purpose of experiencing the movement of their own living Chi energy.

TU Stone Class: There are 5 classes dealing with stones. Each class is two days long, except for the last class, which is three days long. 6:30pm - 8:30pm. (Weekly, Sept. 1-29)

TH Mahasiddha Buddhist class: Presented by The Mahasiddha Buddhist Center. This is an ongoing class having varied topics. There is discussion and some meditation practice. 7pm - 9pm. (Weekly until Sept. 24)
su Reiki Circle: 2pm - 4pm. Open to reiki practioners at all levels - including those who would like to know how reiki works! This event is free. (Begins Sept. 6, 1st Sunday, monthly.)

W Transition Salem: We are working for resilient community in the face of the combined threats of peak oil and climate change. Join us to make a difference! 7pm - 9pm. (Bi-weekly on Wed.)

W Shadow Workshop: 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Cost is $80.00. (Begins Sept. 9, meets weekly until Sept. 30)

SA Pagan Year & A Day Class: Presented by Lyceum of Trees, a Pagan education organization. Learn the basics of Pagan Spiritual practice through discussion and hands-on activities. Cost is: TBA. 3pm - 6pm. (Begins Sept. 12, meets 2nd Saturday each month)

TH Third Thursday Poets: Readings by Pacific Northwest poets. The public is welcome. Hearing the poets read their own works is often moving and always inspiring. Hearing poetry read can change the way one feels about poetry. We invite you to have an amazing experience with new poets each month on the third Thursday! This event is free. 5:30pm - 7pm. (Meets 3rd Thursday each month)

F Pagan Meet Up: Presented by the Salem-Keizer Pagans. Enjoy a nice evening chatting with fellow pagans. The setting is relaxed and the conversation flows! Free and open to the public. (Meets 3rd Friday each month)

TU Tarot Class: Presented by Justin Murrain. This is an introduction to the Tarot and will focus on the first 40 cards of the deck. Students will receive instruction in reading spreads for others. Cost is: $20.00 per class. 7pm - 8:30pm. (meets Tuesdays until Nov. 3).
